Mini Gingerbread Houses

1: Combine Vegetable Shortening and Sugar in a stand mixer.

2: Add molasses and eggs one at a time until fully combined.

3: In a separate bowl, combine dry ingredients then slowly incorporate into the Shortening mixture.

4: Wrap in plastic wrap and chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours (overnight is preferred).

5: Roll out the mixture between 2 pieces of parchment and cut out your house pieces.

6: Bake at 350°F until the edges are slightly brown (baking time will vary based on thickness of pieces).

7: Decorate with royal icing and your favorite candies.
