A simple chocolate frosting made by melting together chocolate and heavy cream. Allow it to chill in the fridge for better consistency before whipping for a frost-like texture to use on cakes.
Melt together chocolate and heavy cream in a microwave or double boiler until well combined.
Allow to cool in the fridge for at least an hour.
Using a stand or hand mixer, whip the mixture until it resembles frosting.
Frost on chilled cakes and allow to set before adding the final coat of frosting.
