Sugar Cookies

1: Beat butter and sugar together until lightens in color.

2: Incorporate one egg at a time, beating well in between.

3: Add vanilla, zest, and lemon juice to the mixture.

4: Once fully combined, add dry ingredients.

5: Divide the dough into two or three equal squares, wrap in plastic wrap, and chill for at least 2 hours (overnight is preferable).

6: Roll out the dough to your desired thickness.

7: Bake at 350°F for 10 to 15 minutes.

8: Ice the cookies and enjoy!
